Challenges:
The existing use, lack of modern infrastructure and industrial structural wear created many challenges over the 10 year renovation.
It was an honor to work on the Model Mill building, which has been a recognizable Noblesville architectural icon since the mid 1800’s. Our goal was to give new life to the 140-year-old building while maintaining its historical façade and integrity. Renovations for the Old Mill building lasted 10-years and resulted in a mixed-use retail, professional and event venue building. Modernizing the infrastructure was a key challenge to preserve the building for another 140-years in Noblesville.
